r u genuinely even processing a single thing that i am saying? on my github, i quite literally admit to the fact that radiostatic IS a darkship, but i am not supportive of everything under that label (pedophilia, rape, incest, etc). almost every ship in hazbin hotel qualifies as a darkship, a darkship can simply just involve power imbalances, violence, manipulation and toxicity (and we're literally talking about demons in hell, so... there's a lot of that!) my POINT was that neither alastor nor vox are abusers/victims of general abuse in this case, and your analogy of valangel to radiostatic was poor for your argument. but yes, alastor is a witness of indecency and was violated, i did not say otherwise. however, again, nowhere comparable to angel's treatment. radiostatic actually has valid reasoning for being a ship, while valangel does not―the entire ship is built off of abuse and is a REAL victim x abuser ship. but with radiostatic, both vox and alastor have fluctuating feelings throughout time. i'm not going to sit here and tell you every minor detail as to why i ship them, but it's clear that there was once a time where alastor was fond of him, and you probably didn't look close enough, but every time vox grabs alastor and he pulls away, vox respects it and keeps his hands off. it's not like vox's whole existence as a character serves to violate and harass alastor, which cannot be said about val to angel. radiostatic is AT LEAST redeemable to some degree. i won't continue with this argument if it's only going to stay repetitive like this// all i have left to say is that one scene does not determine their relationship for the rest of the show.

If you care so much about such situations, I believe you should know that dumbing down what Angel went through to be relatable to what Alastor endured is not a path you should take. Angel is a real victim and a survivor at that. The relationship between Vox and Alastor is complicated, and cannot be simplified to a victim x abuser label, unlike Valangel. You may not like the ship, and trust me, I am absolutely NOT a fan of what went down in the bedroom scene, but there is more between them than solely that. Once again, I am not defending the clear unnecessary fetish that Vivziepop decided was needed to be added to their relationship for plot!
